Introducing Tallulah the Paph

I just received 'Paph Petula's Dream' in bud and I hope her and Wardii make a handsome couple (am I being to cute ). Just excited about the new addition and I decided to name her Talluhah and hope she has the same spitfire that Ms. Bankhead had in her lifetime.

In her description it indicated she "has 5 growths and is a reliable bloomer." I counted 3 former flower stems. But would anyone indulge me and explain what 5 growths means?

I know, I know - very basic questions.

Thanks!

Hi, that great that you are extending youre collection. I haven't named my orchids yet. I guess I might come up with some names for them too. Send us a picture of Wardii and Talluha!

5 growths means that there are 5 clusters of leaves. They probably look like 5 little plants all joined together at the bottom.

That's what I thought, but could only identify 4 clusters of leaves. So then I thought fresh/new leaves, but didn't think that was right either. I look at Tallulah a little harder tomorrow. Thank you for the clarification.

BTW...maybe I haven't blasted Wardii afterall. I realized his stem has straightened up considerably (now that Tallulah is the house - bad joke ) and his bud seems to have swelled up again and the chocolate flower inside seems to have dropped even further down within the surrounding sepals. Go Wardii Go (I really have to stop these late night post)
