does anyone keep...

Does anyone keep Pot. hoku gem 'freckles' HCC/AOS or a similar hybrid? What can you say about it? lighting preferences?

Pot. Hoku Gem 'Freckles' is a simple Cattleya alliance hybrid that takes the same care as other Cattleya. Light should be around 3500 foot candles. The name should start with capital letters to indicate a hybrid. Only species names begin with a small letter.

I really like that it can have two different color flowers on the same plant since the flowers change color with age.

Cool, I didnt know the flowers color changed with age.

I saw a Potinara that was a soft yellow with a red lip in a grower's listing. It was beautiful and I planned on getting it until I read that it needs the same light as a cattleya. That knocked it off my wish list. I just can't give it the light it would need
Well, better to find out now, I guess.
