Help! Epiphytic or Terrestrial?

Hi Everybody,

I'm informally researching hardy epiphytic orchids and downloaded a lengthy list of orchids that I found on the Global Biodiversity Information Facility website. Unfortunately there was no way to filter out the terrestrials from the list and I spent a day trying to figure out whether around 2600 orchid species were epiphytic or terrestrial. There were around 100 species that I had trouble with and I've posted them here in the hopes that the collective knowledge might help figure out whether they are epiphytic, terrestrial, saprophytic or lithophytic. Not sure if it helps but I linked the orchids to the search result for that orchid on the GBIF website.

I plan on posting the results of my research online and if you would like to receive an e-mail when it's up feel free to PM me your e-mail address.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Can't help you with all of them but, from what looks familiar, the following are terrestrial:

XChilosimpliglottis pescottiana (formerly Chiloglottis Xpescottiana
Drakonorchis barbarossa (formerly Caladenia barbarossa)
Sullivania minor - syn. Paracaleana minor. The name Sullivania is under a bit of a debate regarding it's legitimacy. Potentially contradicts naming conventions.
The following are all victims of the recent Pterostylis split:
Eremorchis allantoidea
Oligochaetochilus
Petrorchis bicornis
Pharochilum daintreanum
Plumatichilos litoralis
Plumatichilos rattita MS
Plumatichilos tasmanicum
Plumatichilos turfosum
Taurantha collina
Taurantha conoglossa
Taurantha ophioglossa
Urochilus

Pseudovanilla - the species I'm aware of grow mostly as climbing terrestrials, ie basal roots in the ground with the roots along the stem penetrating into the tree they're climbing. Saprophytic.

The following are epiphytes
Sarcochilus cociliae typo - ceciliae - grows predominantly as a lithophyte
Sarcochilus dilitartus typo - dilatatus
Sarcochilus parviflorus
Parasarcochilus weinthalii - now Sarcochilus weinthalii
Spilorchis weinthalii - formerly Bulbophyllum weinthalii
Tetrabaculum tetragonum - formerly Dendrobium tetragonum

OK, here are my thoughts:

Corallorhiza wisteriana, terrestrial
Corallorrhiza luisteriana Conrad, terrestrial

Isochilus unilateralis B.L. Rob., my guess is all Isos are epiphytic, they don't vary much
Isochilus unilateralis Robinson

Lemboglossum rosii (Van del Linde) Halb., like Odontoglossum

Pseudogoodyera pseudogoodyeroides (L.O.Williams), I would think this is terrestrial as goodyera is

Vanda concolor Blume, I am sure all Vandas are epiphytes
Vanda fuscoviridis Lindley
Vanda griffithii Paxton
