Yippee!!! I BOUGHT MY LIGHTS!!

Well I FINALLY decided on what to get and bought my lights!!! I got a 4 foot 4 bulb bank of T5's. I also ordered humidity trays with the little hose to drain the trays. I'm so excited!!!

Adding flourescent lights really made a difference with my plants. the phals started spiking like crazy and the catts started to get pigment in their leaves. It was so exciting to see the change. Congratulations. I know it will work out fantastically for you.

All right!!! (Gives High Fives) You must let me know how your set up goes and what you think about it. I am still pondering and beating around the bush about it. I want to set up a small one, but want to hear reviews first.

Talk about envy, envy, envy Connie! Lucky you! That would make me so excited. You've got to post pics when you get it all set up. It's going to be your most favorite room in the house! You're going to be spiking up the kazoo!

P.S. Waiting to see your cyms when they've bloomed!

Is there any lighting units like the t5's that are 3 foot instead of 4 foot?

I have never seen a three foot T-anything. I did find a two foot/four light bank fixture with T5's. It's really rare to have anything but two bulbs in a two foot lamp. I found it at EcoGrow Enterprises, Hydroponics, Indoor Gardening Supplies, Hydroponic Systems - Home.
I grow mostly phals and a few oncs indoors and will try a few mini-catts with the new light set-up. I'm hoping the four bulb fixture is enough, but I can always add more lights if it is not. (here we go.....)It's getting colder at night now and I was really getting sick of hauling my plants back and forth twice a day!! I finally went over the edge.
