I'll have to double check. I think the cream/yellow is more predominant on the Gekkeikan, but don't hold me to it though. Let me check.

I finally made an order with Dr. Lehr and will be getting either an Akabana or Benisuzume; 5 growths with 4 spikes! I can't wait! I also decided to get a couple Dens from him as well.

Haha! The last spikes are starting to bloom. I found some spikes that have gotten stuck in the foliage and will probably end up blooming inside the plant. I tried straightening out some of them and was able to get a few out but broke two. I think it's gonna be ready to take pictures at the end of this week.

*squealing* Yay! I can't wait! My spike was kinda stuck under the edge of a leaf so I moved it and it grew like a whole inch in one day! (Probably from straightening up?)

They sure do grow fast!! I found the ones that I could straighten out was younger than the ones that broke. They seem to stiffen out once mature.

That is the species Neo that I got from Satomi. Its kinda weird since the stem of the bud is as red as the Shutenno's was. More pictures to come when it blooms.

Oooh, a green flower form!

What is the cultivar name? I am sure more are going to want to know. Please let us know what it smells like when it becomes apparent.

That one is Hisui, which means jade in Japanese...fitting, huh? I love it!

Oh, the Hisui looks wonderful!!! I can't wait to get mine!!! My Neo's are more fragrant at night.

Addiction happening here......I just won on ebay, Neo Tamakongo and the two Den moniliforme!!

I think I have enough space....I may have to give away some other orchids to make room Oh, silly me, I can't do that!!!

butt0n -- The Hisui looks great!

April -- Congrats on winning the Tamakongo and Den. moniliforme! I wasn't aware that Satomi was selling the Dens on eBay. How much were the Dens doing for?

By the way, I won 2 Rainbows (rounded and mutated ones) and Nishidemiyako on eBay. I couldn't resist, especially after receiving the stimulus check from government. I lost out on the Sekai by a couple bucks. I'll wait for the next round of listing and hope Satomi will have one.

Arlene

I wondered who was going to go for the Seikai. I was watching the Nishidemiyako to see how much it went for. Congrats for winning, I will be waiting to see the picture. Cool, on the Rainbows! It will be fun to see what color they are!

The Dens that I got are the Sekkoku and I got two for 17.50. I know she had another different one and it went for 15.00. The two I got are supposed to have different leaves, they are the wild form.

The Tamakongo that I got was not from Satomi, I got it from Hawaiian Orchid Source for less. I bought Neo's from them before and they are nice. Looking for a bargain!

I had to keep my price low as I just ordered some Neo's from Orchid Web and they will be here this week.
