Joe,

What's the Phrag? It looks like Phrag. Achental (Hanna Popow x richteri) or possibly Phrag Mountain Maid (besseae x hirtzii) produced with a yellow besseae?

Wow, that is sweet, how do you tear yourself away from all that? Nice growing.

Nature has formed orchid flowers in such a way that, unless they make us laugh, they surely excite our greatest admiration." Jacob Breynius

Joe, your display is fantastic. Your collection looks very diverse, love it.

How did you secure the lighting fixtures to the shelves? I have the same units as you (11 of them) and would be interested in doing the same.

You came very, VERY close! Congrats! Only 2 things: 1) St Ouen is misspelled. It is spelled with an initial "O" not a "Q", and 2) this cross has been registered as Phrag Ice Princess.

Good work on both the growing and the names! Your set-up is virtually identical to the one I used when I lived in the US. It works very well, especially for slippers. I went one step further and put humidity trays under everything which allowed me to bring a watering can to the stand and water th eplants where they sat. Very convenient.

It is only the two flowers! Two little Den kingianum flowers is my total.
I DON'T HAVE ANY OTHER orchids flowering at present.

What I said was totally tongue in cheek.

Anton,
I know you were being facetious in your comment about wall to wall flowers,
I was just stating that I really won't mind having a room full of them. Kind of
jealous that we don't have them as available here in the USA as you guys
down under do.
