multiple spiking phal

Still finishing up flowering, but I guess this plant just couldn't wait to have another go at it. Note the new sub-spike on each main spike, and the third spike coming off the trunk. Crazy.

Any ideas regarding those spots on the leaves? They have been unchanged for months so I haven't fretted them very much....

WOWZA!! That's a happy plant... even with spots. Looks like sunburn to me.

Looks like sunburn to me also. Nice plant, I have one with blooms that look very similar. It bloomed like crazy off of a subspike, and now I am waiting to see if it will give me a new spike after cutting the old one off. Congrats.

I had one when I got it which had three flowering spikes. Its lovely when they do that!
Im hoping the same phal will do the same again!

Your Orchid looks lovely. Sorry it has sunburn....any creams you can get for them? ^_^

Hi Slippery_Biscuit, I had a few of my Phals outside this summer and now I have the same spots as you--I had them on a covered porch and thought they were fine, but I watered them in the morning and the suns rays got to them before they were completely dry. The water magnified the rays and the rest is history-- Next time I will know better, but you need not worry about the spot of your ever-blooming Phal!! Great plant
