| Many of my Dens are developing new shoots as well. Some have been dormant for about 6 months. I will post some pictures tomorrow. I don't have much experience with them but I am watering them twice a week and following each watering with an application of a mild solution of fertilizer. I am not sure if it is the right thing to do though. Good luck.

| My dendrobiums are also putting on new growth. I figure I'll keep them moist and well fed until they stop on the assumption that the plant knows what it is doing (better than I do). -- Bill |

| I gather these dendrobiums are the phalaenopsis type, or at least the types which are not subjected to monsoons like the nobiles are, and therefore do not need a cold, dry winter's rest. They need intermediate temps and as much light as you can give them. They may need a bit less water and fertilizer since the light is much weaker now than when they were outdoors. |

| may be you allow the new shoot to develop roots. I have a few pot of dend. which i have to remove some old shriveled pseudobulb as it is block the new shoot from developing new roots. If you don't do anything, the new shoot will be stunted and will refuse to bloom. Repot? too lazy |
