Question What's wrong?

Hi all, the leaves on my Brassia recently started turning yellow. Any idea what's wrong with her? TIA, Lisa

Don't know - but the same thing is happening to my Brassia. It looks exactly like your second pic. On my plant it is only one pbulb worth of leaves... all the others look fine and the 2 new growths are doing great.

How old are the bulbs?

I've had older bulbs on my onc shed their leaves this summer.

On mine it's one of the older bulbs. There is another with no leaves (assuming they did the same thing last year), so I was assuming it was a natural process.

My vote is that you have nothing more than natural processes going on. The older leaves have done their job and its time for the new ones to take over. This always gets me stressed too, but after a few seasons you learn that is just what they do................If it is the newer pseudobulbs doing that we have a completely different situation. mike

This is my experience with a Miltassia Shelob 'Webmaster.' The older leaves turn yellow and get a little moldy. I cut them off the pseudobulbs when I can't stand it any longer. The plant stays healthy. -- Bill

I agree with the rest. As long as it's on the leaves from the older pseudobulbs
and the pseudobulb itself is green and not soft and mushy, this is a normal
occurance on the Oncidiums. Several of mine are going through the same
scenerio and they are in bloom as well.
