| keeping orchid records I am wondering if -- and how -- folks keep records on their orchid collections!? Almost as soon as I bought my first orchid, I started an Excel spread sheet (!!). Each plant gets a number on the spread sheet which I label on the plant itself, and I list ID information and who I got the plant from and basic info. I update this with dates of repotting and dates of new spikes and blooms. (I know, very academic!)
But I could use more information on there, like potting medium and what kind of exposure on my window sills... perhaps this is just getting way out of hand (with about 75 active plants now).
So I'd really appreciate hearing from others if you try to keep records of plants, which live and which die and which rebloom, etc., and where you draw the line on systematizing the world! THANKS ever so much.
