| Cinnamon? I've been told by an orchid grower and have read at least once that powdered cinnamon is effective against crown rot if it is sprinkled on at the first sign of a problem. Does anyone have experience with that remedy? - Bill |

| I've used it for root rot successfully. I tried it on a phal with crown rot, but the poor plant had been through too much and didn't survive. I also understand that a triple antibiotic gel like Neosporin works well. Here's a link that lists that remedy: http://flos.org/tidbits.htm

| Ummm well I tried it about 2-3 weeks ago, so far things still look good but I am sure I wont know for a while how it goes but eventually if it does survive I will let everyone know |

| I dont have fungicide so i sprinkle it on any kind of appearing fungi. I wouldnt say its fast acting, but it does the trick and smells nice too |

| cinnamon is a natural fungicide but by the time you see crown rot you are probably too late. With any disease it is important to get the infection early.
