Lots of questions!

Hi Ive got about a hundred questions so I'll get going.

1st: I divided a den. mini into two plants the first plant bloomed white with purple tips the other plant has just bloomed the opposite purple with white tips anyone ever heard of that? I was a little surprised but excited!

2nd: I have a Brs. External Wind 'TOW' (Bracdiana x Rex). I have had since March 2007. At first it was growing pretty well so I repotted it (it was in a 1inch net thig with spag now in a small terracota with med wood chips) and it hasn't done much since. I'm having the same problem with a Bellra Pacific Brightstar Willy which I'm keeping in the same growing environment. Also is there a way to encourage psuedobulbs, neither have any?

3rd: I just purchased a Dyakia henderoniana. What in the world is this little guy?

4th: I have a Colmanana Wildcatt. Is it a oncidium or a brassia? I looked it up and found a cultural sheet for it but the flowers didn't look exactly the same. It also has black spots on the tips and a couple on the bulbs the same site said that it might be from too much sun but I'm worried that it might be fungus.

5th: I have two tags one says Bellra the other says Bllra is it the same species with the same cultural requirments?

Thanks for any help

The Colmanara Wildcat is now known as an Odontocidium Wildcat. The name change has only been fairly recent, I think this year actually.

Both of those sites are great! I've been looking for the ancestry of several of my orchids. Thank you!

I'm a little confused by your question, "Also is there a way to encourage psuedobulbs, neither have any?"
A pseudobulb is the orchid growth underneath the leaves and at the base of your leaves - both in Brassia and Bllra type orchids. It is somewhat elongated and may or may not have some wrinkles. It is a water and nutrient storage site for your orchids to help the in the wild cope with fluctuations in the environment. Trust me - your plants noted with this question have them.
If you mean is there any way to have bare pseudobulbs with no leaves (?), as your plant matures the leaves will eventually yellow and fall off once they have run their normal lifespan leaving a pseudobulb with no associated leaves. After a number years and an accumulation of these you can start to remove them and discard and/or use them to start more orchids (if you are EXTREMELY patient).

THis is the Bellra. As you can see its still small and I'm assuming young. It doesn't have any swellings that would indicate a bulb. I wasn't sure if it was possible to encourage one by maybe stressing it or something along those lines. I know its fine with out because I water it regularly but if any thing should happen I wouldn't want it to just shrivel up and die.

you do have a young plant there I agree with Mike mayres

you will need to be patient with the right Culture and conditions I think you will see growth soon enough.
I would not advise stressing the plant.

As Fred noted - when the plants are very young there is not much there to see, but as it matures they will form and become obvious. Stress isn't what causes a pseudobulb to form - psedobulbs are what helps your plant cope with stress. Continue to provide the best culture you can and they will form on their own.
