everyone beware the changing sun!

I burned Miss Vanda yesterday! she is ok but it could have been a lot worse had I not noticed. By the way , we have a bud peeking out! I'll try to get a pic later! She was under the overhang in the same sun she has been in all summer. Direct sun.But yesterday she burned. I can only assume its the dropping angle of the sun. Gladys

The angle of the sun is most definitely changing in Colorado. I've had to completely rearrange all my orchids in the atrium as the sun just doesn't fall in the same places through the skylights as it did a month ago.

No wet leaves! Just burned ones.:-( I was surprised. It had been there most of the hot summer. Gladys

Yup, the sun is much lower now and changed before I paid much attention. My shade has almost disappeared entirely from the southern exposed patio and is now extending into the dining area. BTW, I'm having fried catt leaves for dinner!
