Phals re-potting

These Phals. are the latest addition. I am attaching before and after photos. I am also adding photos of the mix I used. The mix: roughly 75% coconut husk chips and fir bark. The rest of 25% is charcoal, COIR, perlite and sphagnum moss.

robb is on a distinguished road
if i was a phal, i'd probably look at that potting medium, and say "MMMMmmmm"

that looks like a fantastic mix, pikevi. strikes me that it may be the closest thing i've seen to duplicating the natural medium for a phal (although it might be even 'super-natural')

LOL... Thanks. I am constantly modifying the mix and am keeping a record, sort of.

I am still nervous about my previous batch of Phals. I used sphagnum moss to wrap around the roots before I re-potted them. I think about 17 of the Phals are potted that way. So far they are doing OK and some of them are spiking too.

I will know which one works best in an year
