'Long-leafed' Phal.

Some of my Phals have fairly long leaves. Many have 8-10 leaves but they are not as long as those on this Phal. This one has 4 leaves and I somehow managed to break off the tips of two of them They are 40 cm (16") or longer each.

Before I break this one too, I'd like to share it with you. This leaf is 16"

my Phal. White Lip or whatever (cause I don't have the tag with me now..) has about 16 inch leaves also and it currently has about 9 leaves in total.. a monstrous plant.. I saw a similar sized plant at the place where I got it from, with flowers about 5 inches wide, so I can't wait til mine bloom.

In fact, I have 3 phals that have as long leaves as that.. some of my prized plants.. hehe..

Thanks jbigio. I am sure it will get there since it is already showing the trend.

robb: It is only one of 44 Phals, so I doubt that I can take any credit for it with or without WATER

ogus : That is really good news . If the size of flowers matches the size of leaves it will be a sight to behold.

Mine has only 4 leaves and two are aready broken. Space is a premium for me and handling those long leaves is quite awkward.
