Should I cut off the spike

My Phal. has been blooming for about a month since I got him. Most of the flowers have dropped on the 2 spikes. One of the spikes still has one flower on it but the middle of the spike is turning kinda yellow. The other spike still has 5 flowers on it.

Should I cut it off or let it be?

I think I would probably remove the (one flowered) spike which is turning yellow, carefully cut it near to the bottom.

If the other spike with five flowers still looks healthy I would leave it be for now.
