Should I continue to fertilize?

Hi guys,
Well right now my Howeara Lava Burst, and an Oncidium Twinkle, and one of my Phals have started to spike. I used a little worm tea last week, but usually fertilize weekly weakly with 20-14-13 fertilizer. Is it okay to keep fertilizing with this formulation when in spike ? I've heard too much nitrogen is not good when they are getting ready to flower...
