Should I repot?

I purchased another lol, orchid today. This one is an Oncidium Sharry Baby. Mine is massive, but not in bloom, so i figured i should get this one-it's not a 'Red Fantasy' as i would have liked but i liked the plant and the smell! Look at the new growths though, should i repot?

Congrats with your new orchid
very nice
once the flowering has finished I would repot into a pot where you have about an inch of medium between the plant and the pot.
for the moment sit back and enjoy the wonderful flowers
awesome

Looks like it could use a new pot, it's always a good idea to repot new plants as well (especially once they've finished flowering).

Isn't it great to get a new orchid?

Hi guys,
Thanks for the advice, I will repot when it is done blooming. When i got home from work from afar I immediatley noticed that about 5 of its long leaves had brown dry looking spots on it overnight i guess!! I froze in horror lol, because I have never experienced any problems with my plants-well diseases and such. I did wipe down most of the leaves in the evening with distilled water and a paper towel. I'm thinking maybe it was a bit dehydrated and the rough paper towel coupled with water and then leaving it in a cold and dry living room may have caused this. I cut off the ailing leaves, dabbed with cinnamon and placed it on the warm humid patio and will continue to watch it. I also didn't notice a scent. Probably just stressed....

mine seems to "smell" in the mornings. I mean it has a fainter smell all day but it is so strong in the morning that the whole room smells of it!
