| I have this plant as well and one thing I will tell you is that it grows like a WEED! I'm thinking that it needs more light than I have been giving it because it has not rebloomed since I acquired it last year. Good luck with yours and keep us informed on how it is doing over time - maybe some of it will rub off on mine? |

| Lisa, I bought a very young one about 3 years ago that had never bloomed. Last year I got my first bloom and now it has a rather large spike getting ready to bloom. It has grown about 3 times the size it was when I first got it. As Mike stated, it does grow like a weed but the blooms are beautiful. I have had mine in my east window. I water once a week, fertilize every other week and cut back on the fertilizing in the winter to once every 4-5 weeks. I've repotted it once in medium bark, perlite, charcoal and a tad of finely chopped sphag. Good air movement (ventilation) seems to really help it's growth. |
