| orchid tree opinions sought This is one of a pair, about 5 1/2 feet tall. Some type of Larch, I believe. Not a hardwood but should give many years of enjoyment before decaying. One will be used for high light plants and the other for those with lower light requirements. Non-orchid plants will also be part of the display. Ellen is nearby and she has seen this and will be a big source. I'll be fabricating a steel plate base with a pair of bands to secure the trunk upright. Maybe some casters to ease movement. So, what do you think?!?? Jeff |

| Thanks for the apreciative comments. I was not clear in the first post, my bad. What I meant to ask was "what are some plant options for mounting here? What combinations would do well? Catts and Tolumnia and ...? for the tree in higher light What plants would work on the moderate light tree? I want to mount a Phal or two; what would go with it? |
