Safe Insecticides for Orchids

I grow my orchids outside in my Greenhouse in the Summer.
I also grow vegetables at the same time.
Since it's a GH.....it gets bugs!
What I've been doing is spraying the veggies for bugs(aphids, whitefly, spider mites)
My orchids never seem to be bothered by any of these critters.
My question is:
I'm thinking of using a Pyrethrum fogger instead of all the hand spraying(Pyrethrum is the strongest thing I'm comfortable using since I'm an organic gardener)
Do you all think that Pyrethrum is safe for Orchids.....or not?
I could take them all out for a few hours after fogging....but that's a giant pain.
Thoughts?
Kathy

Be Careful! Even with Organic Insectisides. You should read my post in the Pest Section. I recently harmed a LOT of my orchids with an organic solution. I'm hoping they're going to recover, but it's still unknown. Good Luck with your pest problem.

the only thing i know from experience is absolutely safe for orchids is UltraFine, a petroleum based horticultural oil. neem is also supposed to be safe. (i've been using neem on my amaryllis with no adverse effects.)

i have a phal with a case of rot and i sprayed the hell out of it with a copper based organic; it's not dead yet, but it's only been a few days.

I have used Neem on my orchids with no harm done.
I want to use the Pyrethrum fogger so I don't have to hand spray all the veggies.

well, the copperized plant is still hanging on; pikes, have you used neem on any slipper orchids in water culture? i have a phrag in fine bark that sits in a small puddle in its saucer all the time (seems happy--blooms, grows, isn't dead yet) and i wonder if the neem will have an adverse effect...?
