Bonanza- Keikis

I counted about 7 keikis is 4 Phals. Two of them are too small to capture in photos but the other 5 are fairly large.

Why are there so many being produced? The plants are reasonably healthy and have 8-10 leaves on each.

Should I give them any special care?

Thanks.

too much nitrogen rich fertiliser during the "flowering season" can cause keikei growth, but im not sure with phals.

These are the orchids that have the keikis.

The last photo shows something which I am not sure if it a keiki. It looks like a re-bloom.

Thanks, tom499.

I alternate between orchid fertilizers from 'plantprod'_25:10:10 and 'Schultz'_19:31:17, applied once a week ( though not regularly).

But I think they get more water than necessary since I use a hose to water the other hanging plants which are above and all around them.

over watering during the rest period is known to cause some dens to produce keikeis rather than flowers, it could be a similiar effect.

I use bloom feed through spring and summer, and use nitro feed after flowerin in autumn and winter.

The last pic is definitely a rebloom.
