First Season's Flowers

Here are my first 2 flowering cyms, they were rescued from my neighbour.

The brown I assume is a Volcanic Flash 'Tim Tam' and the second I asked Fred about, and he seems to think it is a species cym, a tracyanum or hybrid of.

I really like the green one Anton. I am very jealous of all the cym flowers everyone has right now, just lovely.

Palito, generally a couple of months.

I have my own cym Volcanic Flash 'Tim Tam' to flower yet, leaves this one for dead, it's a real deep chocolate brown and just has buds at present.

Brook, we are just coming into Spring Down Under, hence the flowerings.

Pikevi, I just walked outside after breakfast turned the flash on, on my Olympus, took the shot straight away came inside and put it up... Easy !

MissConnie wait unti I put up my original Tim Tam, you aint seen nuttin yet ! It have my original on my Web site from last year.
www.antondrew.com, go to Orchids, then Cymbidiums and you'll see it there, it is a magnificent dark chocolate brown.

For the newbies who weren't on last year, I'll quickly let you know that Tim Tams are chocolate coated cookies here in Oz, and delish too.

Florida weather isn't kind to cym's unless in a GH, maybe. Otherwise, I'd be showing them off too. Lovely!

JUST LOOKING AFTER A MATE !(as in the Ozzie mate = friend)

The tracy was rescued from my nextdoor neighbor. I have 5 cyms from her so every one that opens is a surprise.

Who woulda thunk I would have ended up with a tracyanum in a rescue package ?
