Phalaenopsis Question.

I had my Phalaenopsis for 2 months. My phal has a leaf that is starting to become soft and has a yellow tinge. Its the bottom leaf. I heard that they tend to loose their bottom leaves. So if its true then I suspect its a dying leaf. Do I let it dry up or cut the leaf?

All of the roots are green and healthy so I dont suspect root.

That sounds normal. I usually let mine fall off on their own, but I don't know if it really makes a difference.

Likewise here - just let them fall off on their own. Mine loose 1-2 during the summer and then replace them with the same number and maybe an extra. Enjoy! mike
