| Kevin may correct me, but I think that comes under the category "Standard", I am new to the sizing categories having only just recently joined an Orchid club. There are (I think) standard, intermediate and miniatures.

| My father's cym which I have, is a standard, and you can see it on my site in the ORCHIDS section under cyms, it is Anne Miller 'Midnight' x Claude Pepper "Tawny Port'. This plant has spikes around 2 1/2 feet long. Standing next to it when it was flowering last season, the top of the spikes came up to my waist, and I am 5' 9 1/2". there is one of similar size at the Orchid Doctors at the moment too. They produce very large flowers.

| Technically "standard," "intermediate," and "miniature" refer to the size of the flowers but it stands to follow that a gigantimongous plant like that will (or at least should) have large flowers thereby making it a standard. In my collection of cymbidiums I have only one truly standard size. The plants are just so huge and take up so much room. In all fairness my standard does have 3 spikes this year, so it is trying make itself worth the space it is taking up.

| Mine takes both Genny and I to lift it if I want to move it, and the leaf span is also quite large.
