| When I think of "mini-Catts" I think of things like Slc. Dream Catcher, Bright Angel, Jungle Elf, Circle of Life, Sl Psyche, Mini Purple, etc., etc. Most of these have fully mature growths only about 4-6 inches from rhizome to leaf tip. Some of the species used in mini-Catt breeding are things like: Sophronites coccinea Sophronites cernua Cattleya acclandae Cattleya walkeriana Laelia dayana Laelia pumila Maybe the walkeriana hybrid might be a mini.....

| Thank you kmarch. This orchid store is closing this week. And I grabbed quite a number of plants for under $20CAD ,each. Some were just $10 each. I specifically asked for mini catts and these were given to me as 'minis'. No harm done . I will keep them like other orchids. I also picked up a few Dendrobiums and Paphiopedilums. I will post the list this weekend. |
