Mini Catts or Not?

These are supposed to be mini Catts that I obtained for my community potting.

I am just typing the names as seen on the tags. Some may be erroneous and I hope kmarch will be kind enough to correct.

I am actually looking for Catts. that will be of a similar size. And I am planning to plant them in molded rectangular plastic planters.

Lc. Burgundy Delight (2 plants)

Lc. Netrasiri Waxy 'Jairug' [Lc. Netrasiri Doll. x C. Netrasiri Fireball]

Blc. Lucky Strike X Cattleya Hawaiian Wedding Song

[L/(C?). Cherry Song] Cattleya Netrasiri Beauty

Lc. Starry Sky X Slc. Bright Angel (pink with white center)

C. pr pink white lip X Bc. Chian-Ezy Ingenous 'CT Hime' [this was addressed in another thread by me]

Lc. Netrasiri Waxy 'Jairug'

C. Walkeriana alba 'Pendentive' AM/NOS X Lc. Mari's Song 'Orchid library'

C. Cherry song X C. Netrasiri Beauty

C. Valentina X Encyclia marine (Yellow sm R)

Please pardon my ignorance

Just doing a quick once down the list without a thorough investigation, I don't see anything I'd call a mini-Catt.

Thanks kmarch. No problem.

May be I will just keep them separately and keep hunting for 'mini' catts.

When I think of "mini-Catts" I think of things like Slc. Dream Catcher, Bright Angel, Jungle Elf, Circle of Life, Sl Psyche, Mini Purple, etc., etc. Most of these have fully mature growths only about 4-6 inches from rhizome to leaf tip.

Some of the species used in mini-Catt breeding are things like:
Sophronites coccinea
Sophronites cernua
Cattleya acclandae
Cattleya walkeriana
Laelia dayana
Laelia pumila

Maybe the walkeriana hybrid might be a mini.....

Thank you kmarch.

This orchid store is closing this week. And I grabbed quite a number of plants for under $20CAD ,each. Some were just $10 each.

I specifically asked for mini catts and these were given to me as 'minis'. No harm done . I will keep them like other orchids.

I also picked up a few Dendrobiums and Paphiopedilums. I will post the list this weekend.
