| Lepanthes calodictyon
i want one of these. http://www.terragalleria.com/picture...stud11287.html haven't a clue how to care for it but it's pretty.

WOW that is quite bizarre! I would image that whatever pollinates that plant looks very much like it. Orchids are cool!! |

Or maybe someone can point you in the direction of a reputiable nursury that could sell you one |

Lepanthes come from South American cloud forests which are forests high in the mountains where there is very high humidity and where it is quite cool. They require specialized conditions and are not for the windowsill, unless you live high on a South American mountain. I've seen them grown well in climate controlled cases and in cooled greenhouses.

Here you go! Lepanthes calodictyon - They'll be in CA and Chicago in September. Shoot Elizabeth an email...they may have some that they don't have listed on the website. info@ecuagenera.com It is a VERY striking plant.  Well now I feel silly  ...I didn't see that this thread was so old. I guess you either already found it by now or have decided against getting it. Anyway...if anyone else is interested...there ya go.
