New bloom needs ID

Hi everyone!!

A couple of weeks ago my local orchid doctor gave me a portion of a plant that had fallen off during shipping. 3 pbulbs and one nice spike. Have been waiting and waiting for it to bloom so I can try to ID it. And here it is...

Looks like Miltassia or something similar. Going down to the shop this afternoon to see if I can find the rest of the plant so I can get a name.

Anyone have any guesses? Fingers crossed that there's another like it.

Hi Vivienne, my guess is as good as yours..Miltasia is the closest I can come up with , or a multi-generic. That aside, it's gorgeous ! Hope the growths fall off during the shipment often and they have your # handy every time. Let me know if you've grown tired of good deals, my orchid door is always open

Thanks for sharing the pic even I can't be of any help.

Looks like Miltassia to me as well. What a beauty though. That color is so pale and misty. What a lucky catch!

Man, I've been searching and searching... at the shop and online... and I believe I may have figured it out. Waiting to hear back from the shop whether they received any of these or not. And if the bloom turns a wee bit redder in the petals /sepals then I know I'm right. I think.
