| Old Dendrobium Canes I have an ebook written by Adelaide C. Willoughbyone, Orchids and How to Grow Them. Anyhow, in the book he states not to throw away old dendrobium canes, just put them in a moist sand flat under the bench, he says that they will form new plants like this? Anyone done this? |

| Hi CathyG Yes I have tried that and it works, But I think you will much better luck if you replace the sand with moist spragram moss, and keep it moist, you can also use Keiti paste on the bracts of the canes, the Keiti paste is expensive, but works good! |
