| Went shopping Went shopping and want to share my newbies with you all: This first one, Cattleya is Blc. Walanae Leopard 'Ching Hua'. It's blooming size and hopefully, next spring this is what I'll get. (This is a photo of what's to be. Reference: orchids.ifas.ufl.edu/orchidphotos). The spotted phal is Dtps Long Pride Fancy. | Maybe I should start a new mamoth threat titled: Orchidgeeks Loose Control and it's where we all display our triumphs (or acquisions, or shame, or what ever we call our new orchids). I bet it would have a thousand posts by the end of the first month.  Especially with you lot on board.

| Beautiful Sandra.. I'm glad I haven't been the only one shopping for orchids right now.  I had a Waianae Leopard ( I think the grower mispelled Waianae ) it was a baby and has been missing since last big windy day. I only see the tag and an empty pot in the neighbor's yard  . | Prisana, you are absolutely right. I thought it was "Waianae" also but thought, neh....the label is never wrong!!! LOL. Sounds to me as if the orchid, pot and all blew into your neighbors yard then managed to blow itself out of the pot and right into their kitchen window, maybe? Hmmmm...... Oooh, more paphs prisana. That's another 1 or 2 or 3 on my list. Don't forget to post pics when they arrive. Nancy, the fuschia phal and cattleya are from Home Depot, the spotted one from Walmart. |

| Sandra, I will post a pic but they didn't have what I wanted in spike so these are mature sized seedling.. Hauserman is doing 15 % off right now..for July special..Hurry if you want some.. Three other little catts were blown away that day, I found them all scattered all over the yard..tiny plastic pots were no match for the winds.. I'm sure the Waianae is long gone, all chopped up to pieces by the mower blades by now... |

| Didn't I read the other day where Sandy siad she was running out of room and didn't know where she was going to put any more orchids ? Or, was I just imagining it ? I agree with Vivienne, it IS about time you fessed up.

| It's amazing how you can make room out of no room at all. I scanned the space and low and behold, had room for 2 more shelving units. I'm already out of room now for sure Anton. I'm going to have to start thinking UP now and maybe do the old stacking routine. I'm not ready to say, enough is enough. |
