Mltssa. repot time?

My Mltssa Charles M Fitch is finishing it's blooming. There is new growth coming in off the blooming pbulb but there is also older new growth (which seems undeveloped) on the other side. Can this plant be left in it's current pot or does it need to move up. The plant is beginning to grow 'up' and out - getting a bit top heavy for it's little pot.

If it's repot time, are the aerial roots on this plant better left aerial or should they be worked into the new pot?

Hi Vivienne,
I have the same plant that I picked up at an orchid show 3 years ago. It
was pretty young and grew a new pseudobulb the first year, but never flowered. Last year it gave me one beautiful spike with gorgeous blooms.
I repotted shortly after that with a small new growth starting to form. I
potted up one size and I got 2 new growths this year but haven't had a
flower spike as of yet. Mine was also very top heavy when in bloom and
that attributed to my potting up when I did.

Hi Tobi

I have been told that they are notorious for only producing a single spike. At least it's a gorgeous spike of blooms!

Vivienne,
I didn't know that they were notorius for producing only 1 spike. Might explain
my 1 spike last year. Regarless it's still one of my favorite Miltassias'.
Here a pic of my in bloom from last year.
