| I've only grown a small number of these smaller Oncidium hybrids. My best producer was Odontocidium Susan Kaufman. It would go from new shoot to bloom about every 6 months or so. It bloomed 3 times for me before expiring suddenly (I'm still not sure why). I would look at the last growth that bloomed. That will be about how big the new growths will have to get to bloom. i suspect it will take no longer than a year, possibly as little as 6 months.

| Yes, it may take up to a year before the new growths produce spikes/blooms. I have an Onc. Popcorn 'misty pink' which started a new growth about 6 months or so ago. So far, I don't see any sign of spiking, yet. I believe it's due to our fluctuating weather the last few months. So it's confused at the moment. LOL
