Eriopsis sceptrum

Hi all,
I picked up an Eriopsis sceptrum from a reliable orchid vendor locally last
year. He had several of them shipped up from S. America a few years ago.
The plant is healthy with one new growth and is sitting in my four season
sun room in the South window (Sheer curtains), give it a thorough watering
once a week and feed it every other time (MSU fert.) The vendor has never
had any success in flowering any of his to this point. Is there anybody who
has any other culture info on this genus and particular this species

Tobi, I cannot help with culture, never had any Eriopsis, but I thought you might like to see what you may get if your plant flowers.

I seen several pics of the flowers before (Pretty cool looking).
