For what it's worth.............we've had a grower bring a good number of paphs to our meeting with VERY LONG stems similar to what you've got there. He promoted sticking them down in media and noted that when done, roots will form on the stem ABOVE where you now have a few nubs. Paphs with not enough light will grow stems like this. In fact, as hard as it is to believe, he actually pinched (ouch!) off the new growths above the media and potted up with no roots at all and indicated that most plants he did this with grew roots. The old growth left in the pot sometimes then sent up another new growth. Move both to more preferential lighting......

thats interesting. Im not sure if im ready to pinch this plant...haha I put it in a long flat pot tho and ill see if anything comes up from that. Everyone has been saying its light. I dont know how it could be seeing if i gave it anymore light it would be in full sun for pretty much half the day. My other paphiopedilum grows in the same light and is growing perfectly fine/normal. hmmmmm...thanks for your response

Very interesting ![]() I think forevermango had a similar thread a while back of a Paph he has that had a creeping or rambling growth. There were suggestions posted on his thread how to manage them I do believe
