Help with identification!

I took a trip to TJ and saw this cute little guy and had to bring him home. He did come with a tag, but I have no clue what he is. I really only know phals, paphs, onics, and mils look like. So can someone tell me what this little guy is? I tried to look it up on Google... but yea that didn't work. I got links to D notes for guitars!! On the pot by the price it said 3" mini orchid, but I dont know if it really is a mini, or that its just in a small pot.

The tag says it's a Lc. Loog Tone 'S.D.' which is a Laeliocattleya. Googling the full name will show you what it will look like. Very nice!

That's a cutie for sure !!
I got tags that got scratched or didn't fully print before also makes it difficult sometimes to find the correct name. But there it is the member above me found it and what a cutie it will be !!!!!
Good luck with it.

it's definitely a compact. That is about as big as it's gonna get. The colors look really nice.

If it were mine I would get out of that sphag ASAP. Catts don't like wet feet.

I found this and I hope it helps.
Lc. Loog Tone 's.d.' parentage/culture?

So read up on Catts and take care of it off that info?

Also I pulled the plastic pot out of the brown pot and it is in bark. There is just a little bit of moss on the top I guess to make it look nice.

That is good I would let it do it's bloom cycle then repot.

Yes, the culture sheet is a guideline and gives you something to go by and you can adjust to your growing area.
