and my husband bought me a Blue Diamond Orchid, to add to my collection. i have a very light, (skylight) and all my orchids bloom constantly.(God only knows). so, now that i have this beauty , is there any way for future blooms to bloom bright blue, or should i just get over it, and have a white one? i feel like i have a cubic zirconium. |

White phals are so classic and elegant. There is no true blue orchid. Here's a nice shade of blue. This was my first laelia anceps cross and I love it L. Anceps v. coerulea "Fort Caroline' HCC/AOS x Lc.Mini Purple 'Blue Hawaii |

Welcome to the forum, bett. By the time everyone suggests a "blue" orchid to you, you will need to get a greenhouse! We're great enablers! The orchid in my avatar is Ascocenda Mikasa Blue. It's a purplish-blue, more blue as the bloom ages. Just another possibility |
