| I have a Phal. that has a leak which is broken halfway through and hanging on. Should I remove the broken part beyond the break and treat with cinamon or leave it be? Lisa

| if there is a significant break in the leaf, like its just hanging on by the outer wall layer, then it would be best to cut it off, if the cut goes all the way across the leave. if its just a bad cut, but the leaf still has joins, treat with cinamon and see if it heals. i have several plants that are badly scarred from past experiences just be on the look out for fungi or other infection. In that situation i would amputate on the first signs to save the plant |
