P. Ho's Fantastic yew

So on Black Friday I went to Lowes and saw this guy for $5 It had one good bloom on it the others had died off. I didn't take a picture of it when I got it, silly me, but when I looked it up on Google this is the right picture. So I have never had an orchid with a tag of what it is. I love the color on this one. So today I noticed that the spike seems to be going still and a new spike is starting halfway down the spike. It did have alot of mold and really squishy roots when I got it. So after repotting it and some TLC I guess its happy enough it has started growing new stuff!!

Here is the picture that came up when I Googled it.

I have no clue! LOL it is a little small I guess. The ceramic pot is about 5 inches across and then its in a smaller plastic one. The tag just said P. Ho's Fantastic yew. If was a mini would it say?

OrchidWiz shows that this orchid has 140 Ancestors! It doesn't mention anything about it being a mini or not.

You won't have to wait much longer...before you know it your birthday will be here and so will OrchidWiz!!

As to the ancestory...There is a button on the profile page called Pedigree that lists out this info. If you click any of the plants listed in the ancestry it tells you which one was the pod and which one was the parent. So for this one it must mean that all 140 of these plants contributed to this final creation. Kinda crazy huh?

It finally opened!!!!! WOOOOO!! Its so purdy. I didn't cut back the spike when I bought it so it just kept on going. One flower is open and there are 5 more buds right behind it. And it has a sub spike!
