Don't have aggregatum, but i have a few jenkinsii. I leave mine outside down to freezing, in almost full sun in the winter. I water it about once a month, but they get dew almost every night. I start this when the weather starts cooling off for winter, and will start watering and fertilizing them when I see new leads starting to develop in spring. In summer, they get regular care, nothing special. Two of the three plants I kept from the compot I had bloomed last spring with this treatment. Two are mounted, one is potted in a net pot with LECA. They are still pretty young too, so I'm looking forward to them getting bigger.

I withhold water for the month of December. I then begin watering at infrequent intervals until I observe new growth beginning. I then increase watering frequency.

Yeah I practically withhold completely and I grow mine down to freezing as well. After a month I might splash it with water but not water thoroughly and then like soft cane Den's I start watering when new growths appear.

I had a big aggregatum last year that I got at an OS function. I put it on the bottom shelf of my light shelves, where it was coldest...often in the 50s during the day, but as bright as I could get it under T5s, and didn't water it from Halloween until Valentine's Day (Nov-Feb). I basically ignored it. It sent up several spikes that were chewed up by some critter, but I still got three large spikes to bloom. It was just too big a plant for me to manage, so I donated it back to the OS auction this year.
