Magic, I have been useing them for general orchid potting mix for going on 4 years now with great success.
As for deflasking plants and placeing them into this mix, plants love it and it makes me happy as it is so easy to controll the watering.
Cheers

I really don't like coconut with paphs but they look pretty good.

You should hand them over to me right now so I can take good care of them.........

.
Hi Emm, been on my list for a long time.
Bought a mini flask about 9 years ago and they were tiny when they arrived, plus I did not have the conditions I now have and I think they are about all dead now.
A couple of these are about 4 inches tall and very nice root system on the.
So fingers crossed.

How are all the flasks you de-flasked going! great fun and enjoying part of the hobby

Hi Ron thanks for asking they are doing fine I had a bout with a few pans last summer with aphids that got in the house lost quite a few to them caught them to late. Then I had another bout in 2 pans this past indian summer again in the house. But Brooke helped me get through it and what to use for the babies so I managed to save the majority of these ones. If I don't get a green house or something this year I'm going to use one of the back bedrooms for them away from foot traffic in/out from the back yard. Either they flew in/or hitch hiked on one of us or the dogs. But better now they haven't spread and they haven't shown back up. Did a magnyfying glass inspection last night of every chid in the collection while watering at the sink.
Won't be getting more babies until Jan sometime when more come ready to ship ( I really need more shelves lol)

Enjoy your new babies Ron and if you ever get aphids scream and run to get big guns. They kill babies so quickly and what they don't kill makes them sick
