Rhyncholaelia digbyana question

Hello,

I have a Rhyncholaelia digbyana, and it has been growing a new pseudobulb since I got it. It looks like the leaf is getting ready to open up, and I am wondering if the part coming out of the seam, for lack of a better word, might be a sheath?

Thanks,
Justin

Well, it certainly looks like one to me. You may even have two leaves on this growth - although they usually have only one. Keep an eye on it - and when it opens up let us know
