My orchids (exotic_plant)

In order not to start new thread every time i have question, I will here post pictures, ask questions... First, here is something interesting:

Colmanara Black Cat, that is finishing flowering, put new branches with buds on stem. I knew that this is usual with Phalaenopsis sp. but I first time see this behaviour on this orchid, and similar. At first, I just thought that it stop developing, because upper buds developed and opened. Here is pictures.

That is interesting, I have a Oncd. Heaven Scent 'Sweat Pea' that just dropped its last flower this morning and looking at the top of the stem there is a growth that could be more buds. Kinds stumped, I havent seen this on anything aside from my phals in the past.

There are some genera/species in the Oncidium Alliance that will produce more blooms off of old spikes. I know Tolumnia are one of them, and there are some in the genus Oncidium, but with all the upheaval, I don't know where they could be today!

I love Den kingianum. One day when I have south windows, I'll have a big ole clump! Meanwhile, I will gleefully enjoy your pictures. Great roots btw. Thanks for sharing.

BTW you need to change the name of your plant to Odontocidium Wild Cat, it is no longer referred to as a Colmunara.

I wouldn't be overly concerned about the new influorescences coming off the main stem, just enjoy the extra flowers.
