Aerangis ellisii roots

I'm not very familiar with aerangis. I bought two (citrata and the ellsii) in August. Both have finally started to grow new roots but the aerangis ellsii'a growing tips are all a light yellow-brown. I've seen brownish red, purple and the usual green but these, though, look weird. : ) They are growing fine, look healthy, and I'm not worried, just curious if it is the normal color for this orchid. I wish I had a decent camera to post pictures, the color is neat.

Yep! Orange and a yellow/orange to orange/brown...all very common for Aerangis...as well as some other genera.

BTW .. don't know if it's just a typo or what but it's ellisii. I went ahead and made the adjustment in the title.

Thanks for the correction. It wasn't a typo. I'm a terrible speller, especially with orchid names, even worse at trying to pronounce the names of the orchids. I even found a pronounciation guide to help. Thanks for the quick response. I just love the variation in orchids. Really neat.
