Question root where?

sorry about the quality of my picture, I just wanted a quick opinion. The picture is of the top of the stalk of my Phil. It has 3 healthy leaves and what I think is a root. (puzzled look). Do you think this is a root and what do I do with it?

It almost looks like the root and leaf are emerging from the spike, if this is the case, you have a keiki! Is it possible to post a picture of the entire plant?

Yes, you definitely have a keiki, congratulations. I imagine you would want to remove it from the mother plant and pot it up. I don't have any experience with keikis, but I am sure someone more knowledgable than I will be along to give advice on how and when to separate the keiki and how to care for it.

Yay you have a keiki! when the roots get 2-3 inches long you can remove it from the mother plant and pot it
