| Calanthe spike?
I was doing some reading and I thought calanthes were supposed to drop their leaves in fall and spike in winter. Mine still has nice green leaves on its newest growth, and a little nubbin' that looks like a spike (?). What do you think? I have no experience with calanthes or any terrestrial orchids.
When I got the plant, the soil level kind of low and some of the roots attached to the newest bulb were exposed, so I added some potting soil and perlite. I hope I didn't add too much media. I read that you're supposed to reduce watering in the fall, but my plant isn't shedding its leaves yet, so should I keep up with the watering? Seems like my plant is seasonally confused, just like my maxillaria.
