I don't have any suggestions unfortunately, I just started growing Masdies myself.

However I wanted to say what a beautiful little kitten that is that's posing in the background for you!

I would help if I could but sometimes it just happens. Synda just showed a pic of one of hers that blasted forever then poof, it bloomed.

I have that one and while it's one of the more tolerant masdies...it does that sometimes. The good news is it's a sequential so chances are it'll pop another bud before too long.

I'll bet the adorable kitten is to blame because if the plant blooms kitty is worried that you might pay kitty less attention.

That spike won't be reblooming It's limper than a wet noodle

The little adorable kitten will be heading back to the shelter when he is all better. He had an upper respiratory infection (kitty cold). I actually have 2 kittens with a cold that I have been nursing back to health.

I know the feeling. Like Brooke mentioned, my Masdie andreetaeana has blasted at least a dozen spikes since January. Tried everything every time I saw a new spike with no luck. This time around with 3 spikes, 2 of them finally bloomed. Can't tell you for sure if anything I did differently was the reason, but I can comiserate with you.
