Help with my bulbo bufordience

Bought my first Bulbo from Kawamoto, a Bulbo Bufordience in spike. It arrived with Bud blast, I was bummed. I called Kawamoto to ask what kind of culture to give it, they told me to grow it alongside my catts, which I did. I was very excited when about a week later it shot out another spike. Two weeks later the bud blasted Lookin through the book "Four Seasons of Orchids" this evening I see a pic of my bulbo, but they called bulbo grandiflorum and it says grow it under phal conditions. They usually seem to know whats up at Kawamoto. Could I have recieved the wrong info or the wrong plant I have attached the picture of the bloom i was supposed to get and a picture of the plant I recieved if it helps any.

B. burfordience has a very similar bloom of the grandiflorum. I don't grow the burfordience but do grow the grandiflorum and I grow it wet and catt light, not phal light. If Kawamtoto says to grow it in catt light, I would go with their info.
