| Species club
How does one go about getting into the Phal. species club? I just recieved a Phal violacea and a Phal bellina from Oak Hill Gardens, and I would like to join the others that grow these plants. Thanks Dale |

I already have six, and have another six coming! If you are talking about the member's project, I think I could technically join . . . I do have three violacea! An in-bloom var. Sumatra, var. alba growing a spike, and a small non-Norton var. coerulea seedling!

Katherine -- awwww too bad...guess you should've gotten them sooner. LOL! If it's the member's project plants thing that you guys are talking about then I believe anyone can join...even now. As long as the plants are about the same size...I think that was the only stipulation. It's just a fun group where everyone will compare different growing techniques/conditions/etc/etc. Here are the currently active 4 growing projects... http://www.orchidgeeks.com/forum/orc...roject-3-2011/

| I am talking about the Bulbo's! There are 5 species, 3 primaries, and 1 primary x species. I am also getting an Epc. Kyoguchi 'Fumi' and a bonus seedling for spending over $100!

Koshki, I not so sure about the handshake, but maybe we could all bring our check books and the balance will show you are in the club. I am retired, and between this hobby and sailing, the old check book takes a real bath. I just hope the plants grow fast, because I'm not getting any younger. I will say though, the two plants I got from Oak Hill Gardens were $10.00 each, and that is a real nice price. The plants look real nice. Dale |
