Worried about my Cym

The main bulb seems to be discoloring. Doesn't feel mushy though...at least not yet. It was repotted back on 7/3. The new growth looks good...whacha guys think?

Sorry, I'm not very familiar with Cyms. Just ordered my first one (a seedling) and should be getting it sometime this week. I do hope yours is alright, though.
I'm sure someone else will be able to answer better than I.

I'm not seeing anything that looks discoloured to me. It' looks normal. You may eventually loose some of the leaves off the old bulb, eventually they'll all go but that won't be for a while yet. For now it looks fine. Now is the time when you should be watering heavy and if you fertilize, then do so now.

Oh! (phew!) Thanks kmarch! I'm new to these...kinda scary. Have not fed it yet but will now...as for water, I have it outside and we have been getting rain. She hasn't been dry. Thanks again for the info!

Nice healthy plant as everyone said.

I personally would remove the yellow leaf and the one above it on the left of the picture, and maybe a couple of the lower ones on the right too.

This takes away any hiding places for creepy crawly little nasties that love to devour plants.
If you leave old leaves too long on Cyms they go brown and very hard, and you need bullnose pliers to remove them off the pseudobulbs.

I prefer removing them while they are still relatively green and subtle.
