Root nubs! YAY!

So, is it a sign of serious addiction when you really get excited about little tiny root nubs? I mean, I called my husband this morning to tell him!!

Oh, me....

Sedirea japonica (yes, the one I sunburned)

Cattleya Belairensis

Yeah, that's probably one of the number one signs of a problem. But there's good news! I have the same problem, and it seems most everyone else here does too. So there's always that, at least you're in good company!

Also congrats on your orchids doing well!!! Yay!

What problem? I don't have a problem if I have root nubs - I have a celebration!

Oh, you mean a serious addiction.. well, yes - but its not a problem!

Yes, you probably have a serious problem, but you'll find no help for it here!

Hey, I get excited about roots as well. Confirms I'm at least doing something right.

Now raising girls? That's another story.....

It's always exciting to see the start of those lil nubbins!
I'll admit that I have to inspect each 'chid everyday -- a definite sign of being an addict!

Congrats!

oh god, don't say its a problem when you get excited about roots and new growths because then i am seriously ill, i always get excited, i think its partly because it means that the plant is happy and im growing them right

I just transferred all my orchids from clay pots to net pots so I could enjoy seeing the roots peep out. I just love seeing my orchids grow and that is where they grow the most. Congrats on the new roots!

Yay congratulations . I'm always excited to see new growth on an orchid. I guess that means I'm an addict too lol.
